Weekly Update: 14th - 20th Apr, 2025

Applied for a new freelance project, did some Instagram experiments, and more.

Welcome!

I hope you are well.

Here, I’ll share the lessons I’ve learned at work and in life in the last week.

Lessons Learned

  • I was going to get a new freelance project, but it seems dicey if I’ll get it or not. This is where I’ve learned the value of continously following up with the client. It also made me understand that I need to get all contracts cleared with the client very very patiently before starting to work for them.

  • I’ve been testing some formats on TechnoBizzVault’s IG account. I’ve learned that the post that gets the most likes and views won’t necessarily get you the most followers.

  • If you are someone who wants to create content on general business on LinkedIn, then the video content format can work best for you.

  • Carousels are the best performing content format but they work well only if the topic is trending, or it can help people go through a transformation.

  • I’ve been learning about the Whop content rewards program. It looks good, but I think many creators are paying too low and it is not a good long term revenue stream until and unless you work for a creator who can easily get a lot of views on their content.

  • Social media platforms must build their own AI agent builder tools because they won’t be supporting most third party AI agent builder tools.

  • If you want to be a creator on Instagram, the only engagement metric that matters the most for you is when people share your content piece in their DMs, on their stories, and on an external platform.

  • ChatGPT o3 is really good and works as a deep research lite agent for my tasks. It reasons, researches, and curates content really well.

  • Showcasing projects in a resume will matter 100x more than education because AI is making education accessible for anyone now.

  • Google’s Veo 2 video generator is much better than Sora for any content and business related video creation use cases.

I hope you’ve found this helpful.

Have a great day!
